Trading: where can I buy Beam?
Here, you will learn how to buy the Beam cryptocurrency. There are several exchanges which list Beam, and you will find a list at the end of this article.
As I get many visitors whose first contact with cryptocurrency is either Grin or Beam, I will also explain a way to first buy Bitcoin (BTC) or Ether (ETH). This is because many altcoin exchanges don’t handle Fiat currencies, or you’ll have to do a full verification in order to trade Fiat currencies, which many users don’t want.
Buying Bitcoin or Ether: bitcoin.de / coinbase.com
If you already have Bitcoin or Ether, don’t bother with this article. If you don’t, here’s how to get ahold of your first BTC / ETH, so you can buy Beam, later:

By the way, Coinbase is perfectly fine for the rest of the world, too. So, European users can use it without problems.
Note: I’m trading on bitcoin.de since 2012, and I’ve never had a single issue with somebody not paying / not releasing the BTC. However, there are casual stories… if you did pay for the BTC, but the seller refuses to release them, contact the bitcoin.de support. They will resolve the issue for you!

Bitsquare (Bisq) is an open-source, peer-to-peer decentralized trading application which lets you trade cryptocurrencies against other cryptocurrencies or national currencies, as they claim.
Bitsquare currently only offers the Beam / BTC trading pair.
